
All applicable building permits for these improvements must be obtained from the Building Department. Provide zoning information for but not limited to the following type of improvements: Decks, patios, driveways, signs, fences, swimming pools, garages, and shed regulations.Provide zoning information for but not limited to: Permitted uses, setback requirements, lot coverage, and all other bulk building requirements.The Department of Zoning and Housing Enforcement is also responsible for the enforcement of municipal codes and conducting inspections for the issuance of Certificates of Continued Occupancies, required by Township Ordinance, prior to the sale or rental of all residential properties.


The Director of Zoning and Housing Enforcement reviews applications for all proposed uses, construction or alterations to ensure that they are in accordance with the provisions of the Township's Zoning Ordinance or Variances duly authorized by the Township Planning Board, prior to the issuance of a permit. The Department of Zoning and Housing Enforcement is responsible for the enforcement and maintenance of the Township's Land Use Regulations enacted by the Township's Committee.
